Gary Cline

Gary Cline, born September 20, 1955, passed away October 19, 2026.

We have had a lot of family and friends asking about how Dad, Gary Cline, is doing. With great sadness we have to report that he passed away at 7:30 am on October 19, 2026, and this was really unexpected.

He had diabetes for years as an underlying issue and it finally took its toll on his body. On October 5, 2026 he was taken to the hospital with a 1200 glucose level. He had a type 2 heart attack due to oxygen in his blood. He was taken to Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg. The staff was excellent and worked diligently to try to repair the damage to him. The ultimate decision was made to give him comfort care per his wishes.

God blessed us with extra time for closure. God also blessed us with safe travels during the drive to the hospital. I personally would like to say thank you to all the staff that assisted our family during this time.

Dad decided a few years ago to be a WVU body donor so research could be done on the study of diabetes. He had hoped by doing this someone would benefit from the study of him.

A service celebrating his life will be at a later time.
