Gary L. Pritt

Gary Lee Pritt, 72 of Given, WV, passed away July 27, 2023 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV following an extended illness.

Gary was born October 26, 1950 in Columbus, OH, son of the late Roy and Kathleen Smith Pritt. He was a graduate of South High School in Columbus, Ohio and has always worked since his Junior year in High School. He was the former owner of Pritt’s Kitchen and Bath in Ripley and worked in designing many projects. He loved woodworking, driving and traveling while sightseeing and was not only an avid WVU sports fan but a fan of all sports. In his retirement years Gary loved selling RV Campers and was always ready for a side by side ride.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jeanette French Pritt; brother Wayne Pritt of Ohio and is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Otis Pritt.

In honoring his wishes, he will be cremated and no public service is scheduled. Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley is serving the family.
