Gary L. Willard

Gary Lee Willard, 63, of Charleston passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 at CAMC Memorial Hospital following a short illness. He was born February 10, 1953 at Charleston, a son of the late George and Geraldine Rhodes Willard. He retired as a crane operator from West Virginia Steel. Following his retirement he enjoyed cutting grass and fishing. He is survived by son Bryan Willard of Summersville; brothers Michael Willard of Charleston and George Willard (Kathryn) of Ravenswood; grandchildren Emma and David Lee Willard. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Friends may call on the family an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Fairplain Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Fairplain Cemetery Legacy Fund, P.O. Box 1091, Ripley, WV 25271.
