George H. Clevenger Jr, 67, of Cottageville passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021. He was born May 3, 1953 at Terrre Haute, IN a son of the late George Sr. and Margaret Ann Kincl Clevenger. George was an Iron Worker for Union Local 17. He loved to hunt, camp and watch football, especially when the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State University Buckeyes were playing. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Patricia Wilson Clevenger; children Jason Clevenger and Misty Melton; brothers Jacob Clevenger of Maryland and Charles Clevenger of Parkersburg; sisters Barb Lebo and Margaret Ditmore both of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren Cody Clevenger, Winter Clevenger, Cheyan Melton, and Riley Melton; great-granddaughter Ariannna Patterson Funeral service will 1 p.m. Saturday, January 30th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Chris Skeen officiating.
