Gerald Allen “Jerry” Gandee, 64 of Ripley, went home to be with his wife March 27, 2022 following a brief illness Jerry was born March 18, 1958 in Ripley, son of the late Gerald E. and Betty L. Scarberry Gandee. He was a 1976 graduate of Ripley High School and went on to make a living doing construction. Jerry loved hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. In addition to his parent’s he was preceded n death by his wife of 35 years, Jima (Ingram) Gandee and his brother, James “Jimmy” Gandee He is survived by his son Jared (Angela) Gandee of Ripley; sisters Beverly (Paul) Steele of Ripley, Barbara Starcher of Ripley and Brenda (Everett) Wiles of Allen TX; brother Gary Gandee of Ripley; is grandchildren Zoey Baldwin, Chad Gandee, Madison and McKenzie Shinn, Jeremiah Goff and Noah Kay all of Ripley; nephews Matt Fridley of Princeton, TX, Joshua Rhodes of Fort Collins, CO and Aaron Wiles of Allen, TX; and his nieces Savannah and Sierra Westfall of Charleston, WV Funeral Service will be 1:30 pm Friday, April 1, 2022 at the Waybright Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville. Friends may call from 11:30 am until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to Waybright Funeral Home to help with expenses.
