Gerald Jerry Gandee

Gerald Allen “Jerry” Gandee, 64 of Ripley, went home to be with his wife March 27, 2022 following a brief illness Jerry was born March 18, 1958 in Ripley, son of the late Gerald E. and Betty L. Scarberry Gandee. He was a 1976 graduate of Ripley High School and went on to make a living doing construction. Jerry loved hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. In addition to his parent’s he was preceded n death by his wife of 35 years, Jima (Ingram) Gandee and his brother, James “Jimmy” Gandee He is survived by his son Jared (Angela) Gandee of Ripley; sisters Beverly (Paul) Steele of Ripley, Barbara Starcher of Ripley and Brenda (Everett) Wiles of Allen TX; brother Gary Gandee of Ripley; is grandchildren Zoey Baldwin, Chad Gandee, Madison and McKenzie Shinn, Jeremiah Goff and Noah Kay all of Ripley; nephews Matt Fridley of Princeton, TX, Joshua Rhodes of Fort Collins, CO and Aaron Wiles of Allen, TX; and his nieces Savannah and Sierra Westfall of Charleston, WV Funeral Service will be 1:30 pm Friday, April 1, 2022 at the Waybright Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville. Friends may call from 11:30 am until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
