Gladys Gay Gibson

Gladys Gay Gibson, 80 of Kenna, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 3, 2017 at Charleston Memorial Hospital. She was born January 12, 1937 in Romance, WV, daughter of the late Oscar and Bessie Marion Shamblin. She was a caretaker. Gladys was devoted to her church, The Bethel Bible Church, and enjoyed working in her flowers and sewing. She is survived by her son Frederick “Nelson” Gibson of Kenna; daughters Belinda Facemyer of North Carolina and Becky Lambert of Cross Lanes; sister Mamie Kenney of Kenna; she is also survived by eight grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Martin Cadle and a daughter, Robin Workman. Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Monday, November 6, 2017 at the Bethel Bible Church, Pleasant Valley Road, Kenna, with Pastor Bill Ricker officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Kenna. Friends may call from 1:00 pm until time of service at the Church. Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley is serving the family.
