Glen Foster Casto

Glen Foster Casto, 81, of Statts Mill passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 at CAMC Memorial Hospital following a short illness. He was born May 25, 1935 in Jackson County, a son of the late Owens and Cora Rhodes Casto. He was employed by True Temper where he worked in the finishing department. He loved to be outdoors where he could often be found mowing the grass. He also attended Vista Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Rita Fields Casto of Statts Mill; Son Shawn Casto (Missy) of Cottageville; Daughter Shannon Casto-Young (Mark) of Statts Mill; Brother Edsel Casto (Helen) of Statts Mill; Sister Mamie Bell Stalnaker (Ivan) of Statts Mill; Grandchildren Cori Casto, Erin Casto, Faith Casto, Lucas Young (on the way) and James Hoffman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by Brother James A. Casto, Sisters Dorothy Reed and Olivia Casto, and grandchildren Grace Dawn Casto and Mason Anthony Young. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastors Bud McVey and Aaron Melhorn officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. There will also be a time of visiting on Wednesday from 12 p.m. until the time of service.
