Glenda Parsons

Glenda (Casto) Parsons, 95 of Kenna, went home to be with her Lord on October 26, 2017 at Jackson General Hospital. She was born August 13, 1922 at Belgrove, a daughter of the late Leonard and Goldie Skeens Casto. She was a Christian and member of the Stonelick Church. Glenda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whom enjoyed gardening, cross word puzzles and word search, quilting and crocheting. She is survived by one daughter, Aleta Parsons of Kenna; a son Stanley Parsons and his wife Karen of Soddy Daisy, TN; two grandchildren, Curt Parsons and Amanda Blizzard and her husband Lee; great grandchildren, Ashlie and Tyler Parsons and Anne Blizzard. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Marshall Parsons, a great granddaughter, Laura Blizzard and her siblings, Burton Casto, Velma Williams, Perry Casto, Garnet Bishop and Luda Sheets. Funeral Service will be 4:00 pm Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Allen “Butch” Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Grasslick Cemetery, Kenna.
