Glenda Mae Stump

Glenda Mae Tawney Stump, 64, of Spencer passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 following an extended illness. She was born May 9, 1956 at Charleston, WV a daughter of the late John Edward and Roxie Mae Stricklen Tawney. Glenda loved her sports, especially the West Virginia University Mountaineers. She is survived by her daughter Jodi Butcher of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; siblings Judith Skidmore of Elkview, Wilma Sue Powell and Brenda Kay Cottrell both of Spencer; grandchildren Chelsie, Larra (who was her caregiver), Stephen, Seth, Courtney, Larry, Kelsey, Freda, Devon and Xander. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Hayden, Adriel, Jordyn, Karsyen, Jaxon and Jonathan. In addition to her parents Glenda was preceded in death by two daughters, Melissa Dawn Hall and Sandra Lynn Brown and siblings John Edward Tawney Jr. and Diana Joy Sanders.
