Glenn Dale Mckeown

Glenn Dale McKeown, 87, of Cambridge, Ohio, formerly of Jackson County, passed away Tuesday afternoon at his home following an extended illness. He was born March 17, 1927 in Jackson County, son of the late Hubert and Albeteen Delong McKeown. He was an Army veteran of WW-II and retired as a carpenter in the construction business. Surviving: His wife of 66 years, Mary Louise Casto McKeown; Sons, Joe McKeown Karen) of Columbus, Ohio, Gary, Greg (Rita) and Dave McKeown, all of Akron, Ohio, Anthony "Tony" McKeown of Charleston and Andy Walker; Daughters, Toey McKeown of Ripley, Tammy McKeown of Cambridge, Ohio, Debbie McKeown Curry of Ripley and Robin McKeown Weekley of Ripley; Brother, Ivan McKeown of Florida; Sisters, Ann Riggs of Ravenswood, Jerry McKeown and Fay Baron, both of Akron, Ohio; Grandchildren, April Weekley, Shara Fields, Timothy Weekley, Bridget Curry, Gretchen Curry, Tony Roub, Clair DaleRoub, Christina Roub, Jason McKeown, Anthony McKeown Jr., Adam McKeown, Ryan McKeown, Sierra McKeown, Jessy McKeown, Tati McKeown, Michelle Early, Michael McKeown, Franky Varga, Tina Manning, James Ramey, Brandon Ramey, Jeff McKeown, Terry McKeown, T.J. McKeown, Travis McKeown, Shannon McTighe, Jason McTighe and Donovan Stahl; 46 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by a son, William "Rick" McKeown and a daughter, Caroline Beaver. A service celebrating the life of Glenn McKeown will be Friday, April 18, 2014 at 3 p.m. at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastor Bob Keene officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Casto Cemetery, Rt. 33 East, with military graveside rites by American Legion Post 107, Ripley.
