Gregory A. Blankenship

Gregory Allen Blankenship, 68, of Sandyville passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg.

He was born July 27, 1955 at Sandyville a son of the late George Otis and Opal Virginia (Staats) Blankenship.

Greg was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping and used to make muzzleloaders. He also loved to ride his Harley.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Tammie (Pickens) Blankenship; children Greg Blankenship II and Amanda Jo Funk (David); sisters Shyrel Moellendick and Charlene Rollins (Bud). He is also survived by grandchildren Isaac Mathew Blankship, Gabe and Bella Funk and a great-grandson Camdyn Blankenship.

In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Collins

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 5th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.
