Gunner Edward Lee Scofield

Gunner Edward Lee Scofield, 8 month old son of Myha and Dakotah Scofield gained his angel wings on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at CAMC Women’s and Children Hospital.

Gunner was born May 17, 2022 and was the happiest baby with the prettiest smile. Gunner’s favorite toys were his teethers (especially his dinosaur one), his little red trucks and his peek-a-boo elephant. Some of Gunner’s other favorites included his bear blanket, Christmas lights and the movie Marsha and the Bear.

Left to cherish Gunner’s memory are his mom and dad Myha and Dakotah; grandparents Tammy Scofield, John Williams, Roxanne and Joe Lamont, Michael Scofield (Josie); great-grandparents Ozellia Critchfield, Joyce Scott, Ellen and Larry Cottrell and Brian Lamont; aunts and uncles Brenda, Shawna, Sara, Tapainga, Azlyn, Joseph, Creed, Hannah, Brianna, Braden, Joseph, Victoria, Timothy, Jacob, Kaitlin, Joseph, Shawn, Christian and Pam.

Gunner was preceded in death by great-grandparents Randy Critchfield and Elva Lamont and an uncle, Edward.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 30th at Waybright Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Melhorn officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m until the time of the service.
