Guy "Doy" Redman

Guy Doy Redman, 82 of Ripley passed away May 9, 2015 at Rock Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation, Pomeroy, OH, following a long illness. He was born December 7, 1932 in Ohio, a son of the late Willie and Anna Good Redman. Doy was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a School Bus Driver for 35 years with the Jackson County Board of Education. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and served as a coach in Ripley Little League Baseball. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Donna Bowman Redman and four brothers and three sisters. He is survived by sons Gene (Ellen) Redman of Kenna, Jim (Joni) Redman of Sandyville and Jeff (Karah) Redman of Gay; daughter Debbie (Mike) Flinn of Leroy. Also survived by seven grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley. Friends may call two hours ( 11 am to 1 pm) prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
