Harold W. Hayhurst

Harold W. Hayhurst passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015. He was born June 8, 1936 in Fairmont, a son of the late Denzil and Virgie Mae Merrill Hayhurst.He has been a Christian for 55 years and a member of Ripley Baptist Temple for over 50 years. Harold retired from Ravenswood Aluminum. He leaves behind his loving wife and high school sweetheart of 60 years, Avis Martin Hayhurst; Son Timothy W. and Jenni Hayhurst and daughter Nancy and Tom Garnes. Six grandchildren April and Beau Showen, Codi and Trae Gandee, Brian and Cindy Bussey, Cassi and Jeff McCoy, Miranda and Chad Wilcox, Timothy W. and Kayla Hayhurst. Ten great grandchildren, Branson, Braden and BriLynne Bussey; Sadi, Chloe and Zeke Gandee; Cade and Jacob McCoy; Haley and Ashley Wilcox. One sister Delores and Ivan Austin of Fairmont. Friends will be received on Friday, July 17th from 5pm-8pm at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. The funeral service will be conducted by his grandson, Brian Bussey on Saturday, July 18th at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.
