Helen Kay Bowman

Helen Kay Bowman, 81, of Ripley, WV went to be with the Lord on August 1, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. Helen was born on January 10, 1944 in Lincoln County to the late Tom and Myrtle Alford.

Helen is survived by her daughters Stephanie Castle and Ramonia Lombardi; sisters Betty Simmons, Hattie Alford, and Cindy Francis; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sons Terry Bowman, Roger Bowman, and Patrick Bowman; and daughter, Cathy Bowman.

In her spare time she enjoyed birdwatching, tending to the garden, embroidery, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
