Helen Holmes Lanham

After an extended illness, Helen Holmes Lanham was called home by her Heavenly Father on January 13, 2016. She died peacefully in her sleep alongside her beloved husband of 61 years. She is survived by her husband, Paul; her children, Tamara, Stephen, Randall; her daughters-in-law, Lisa and Kristen; grandchildren, Andrew, Nicholas, Chloe, Brandon, Christopher and Alexander; as well as cherished family member Gary Lanham. Additionally, her beloved sisters, Francis, Carol, Eunice, Dianna, Faye, Anna, Evelyn and brother Darrell. She was preceded in death by her parents Russell and Macel Holmes and her brother Orville. Funeral services for Helen will take place at the Waybright Funeral Home in Ripley, West Virginia on Saturday, January 16, 2016 beginning with a viewing from 11:00-1:00 pm, with a Celebration of Life service. Followed by a graveside interment at Pine Hill Cemetery and will conclude with a reception at the Ripley Baptist Temple, 320 Charleston Dr., Ripley, WV. All are welcome.
