Helen Dorothy O'Connor

Helen Dorothy O'Connor, 94 of Sissonville, passed away June 16, 2016 at the home of her niece following a long illness. She was born May 28, 1922 in Charleston, a daughter of the late John and Della Tate O'Connor. She was a caregiver and will always be remembered as an independent lady who was full of life. She was a lifelong resident of Sissonville and enjoyed riding on the KRT to the mall and eating out. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters, Lessie Wade, Teskey Wade and Gertrude Keeton; and a nephew, Roger Keeton. She is survived by a son, Samuel Cobb of Sissonville; niece Beverly Pritt of Kentuck; nephew Darrell Keeton and many great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Goshen Cemetery, Kentuck, WV with Sam Bays officiating. Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley is serving the family.
