Helen M. Shamblin

Helen Shamblin, 77 of Kenna, passed away August 31, 2023 in Charleston General Hospital following a sudden illness.

She was born August 2, 1946 in Charleston, daughter of the late Elmer and Clara Duff. She was a realtor for many years managing Old Colony Realtors. Helen loved life and enjoyed traveling, especially with her family. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by sons, Kevin (Karen) White of Kenna, Danny White of Kenna and Todd White of Charleston; sister Barbara Ann Kincaid of Salem, VA; grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Mark, John, Michael, Amanda, Niki, Sonnie Fay, Kalyn, Makaila, Lexi and Scott; great grandchildren, Jude, Zelda, Tully, Zayna, Aubrey, Isiah, Evan, Ally, Octav’a, Blaine, Shalin and Sara.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Shamblin, sister, Betty and brothers Robert and Dick.

A time of visitation with the family will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley.
