Hilda Ernestine Stump

Hilda Ernestine Stump, 91, passed away at her home on October 6, 2022. Ernestine was born on Wills Creek in Kanawha County, WV, and was the daughter of Otis and Chloie Summers. Her loving husband, Harry J. Stump, preceded Ernestine in death.

She enjoyed ballroom dancing and teaching line dancing in Florida, Tennessee and Texas. She loved singing and playing her guitar, especially with her brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by brothers Emerson Summers and Bobby Summers and sisters Helen Strickland-Withrow, Marjorie Wills and Peggy Summers. Ernestine is survived by one brother, Ron Summers.

Ernestine had so much love for her daughters Joyce Stump and Karen Beaver (Fred), her three grandchildren Carrie Murray, Jennifer McGuire, and Michael Beaver and great grandchildren Taylor Murray, Reese Murray, Drake McGuire and Drew McGuire.
