Howard Keith Gandee

Howard Keith Gandee, 70 of Ripley passed away January 5, 2015 at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston following a long illness. He was born May 16, 1944 at Fairplain a son of the late Foster and Vesta Crane Gandee. He retired from the Teamsters Union and was a Truck Driver. He formerly worked for State Construction. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his sons Marshall (Jennifer) Gandee, Merle (Tiffany) Gandee and Zach Gandee all of Ripley; daughter Marsha (Chris) Miller of Medina; the mother of his children Virginia Hardesty; grandchildren Ben Gandee, Hannah Gandee, Bethie Gandee, Trey Miller, Courtney Miller, Dillon Gandee, Dalton Gandee and Addison Gandee; brother Ronnie Gandee of Fairplain; sisters Edna "Tincy" Bennett of Ravenswood and Ruby Tolley of Ripley and survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter Cassandra Miller and many brothers and sisters. Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Franklin Howerton officiating; Burial will be in the Casto Cemetery, Fairplain.
