Hubert Webster Walker Hubert Webster Walker, 73, of Ripley, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at CAMC following a short illness. Webster, as he was universally known by friends and family, was born October 5, 1939, son of the late Daniel (Web) Webster Walker and Pearl Anderson Walker. He was a member of the Wood County Flywheelers, Mason County Farm Museum Flywheelers and the By the Lake Flywheelers. He retired as a heavy maintenance mechanic from the Parkersburg office of the State Department of Highways. In addition to his parents, Webster was preceded in death by his wife, Garnet Walker. Surviving: Daughter, Adda Bailey (John Standish) of Ripley; Son, Ronald Bailey (Vanessa) of Massillon, OH; Grandchildren, Amber Barnett, Sabrina, Ronnie and Brandon Bailey; Great-grandson, Kaesyn Barnett; Brothers, Eugene Boggess and Jerry Walker (Iva), both of Ripley; Sister, Arlene Walker Spellman of Ripley. A funeral service honoring Webster's life is set for Monday, March 25, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Salt Hill Church on Cedar Lakes Drive near Ripley with John Gunther officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Salt Hill Church Cemetery.
