Icie Mae Kerns

Icie Mae Kerns, 77, of Kenna, WV gained her angel wings on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Miletree Center in Spencer, WV.

She was born August 11, 1945. She was the daughter of the late Spicer Carl and Mable Irene (Casto) Kerns. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Denver Horn and a grandson, Jerry D. Kerns II.

Icie loved spending time with family. She also loved her church family and all the church activities.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Dale Ray Kerns; sons Jerry Kerns (Mary), Terry Kerns and daughter Hazel Kerns; brother David Horn (Dolly); sisters Sarah Southall (Rector), Lessie Kerns, Florence Bryant, Shelia Kerns (Ronnie) and Irene Williams. Icie was also blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 24th at the Goshen Baptist Church with Pastor Alan Owens officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
