Imogene Miller, 84 of Ripley joined her husband "Rocky" and infant son "Butchie" in Heaven on Thursday, July 26, 2012 She was born November 29, 1927 in Charleston a daughter of the late Raymond and Mary McKinney Patterson. She was an registered nurse at Thomas Memorial Hospital, McMillian Hospital, CAMC and many area doctors offices. She was a faithful member of the Grace Community Church at Fairplain and a former member of the Fisher Memorial Church Goldtown Community Church both at Goldtown and the Charleston Mountain Mission. She is survived by two daughters; Patricia Miller of Ripley, WV and Rebecca Whited and her husband Chuck of So. Boston, VA; two grandsons, Kirk Whited of Lynchburg, VA and Blain Whited of Gainesville, VA; two sisters, Virginia Staggs of South Charleston, WV and Charlotte Grams of Zephyrhills, FL; also, a special sister-in-law whom was like a sister, Virginia "Jenny Anne" Ray of Laurenburg, NC. In addition to her parents, husband and son she was preceded in death by two brothers Richard and John Patterson Funeral Service will be 11 am Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastors Kevin Jennings, Tim Parsons and Aaron Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday and 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the Funeral Home.
