James Wilbur Deitz

James Wilbur Deitz 71 of Sandyville passed away September 13, 2013 at his home following a long illness. He was born January 14, 1942 at Hamlin, WV a son of the late Harry and Mauna White Deitz. He was a Boilermaker. He will always be known as a hard worker and a man who took care of his family. He is survived by a daughter and her husband Anna and John Allen Holley of Sandyville; a son James W. Deitz Jr. of North Carolina; grandchildren Travis Burdette and Noah Deitz; brothers John Deitz of South Charleston and Roy Deitz of Louisiana; sister Jean Taylor of Idaho. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter Ashley Burdette and a sister Alma Lawson. The family is honoring his request to be cremated.
