James Michael Fields

James Michael “Mike” Fields, 59 of Ripley, passed away on December 19, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg following a short illness. He was born July 28, 1960 in Ripley a son of Sue Cunningham Fields of Statts Mill and the late Filbert Fields. He was the owner and operator of J.M. Auto Repair. Mike loved to help people anyway he could. He displayed a lot of talent in working on cars, which he loved to do as well as flying helicopters and airplanes. Mike was strong in his faith and it was important to him to witness to others. In addition to his mother, Sue Fields, he is survived by his wife of 25 years, Charlotte Casto Fields; children Casey Dawn (Brad) Camp, Sommer Nicole Fields and Michael Shane Fields; grand children, Gavin Michael and Addison Mae, brother Jeff (Tonya) Fields of Ripley; sister Annetta (Cameron Hildreth) Fields of Spencer. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by infant twin sons, a brother, Ricky Ray Fields and father-in-law, Charles Casto. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Monday, December 23, 2019 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Burial will be in the Siniaville Cemetery, Statts Mill.
