James E. Johnson

James Edward Johnson, 64, of Ripley passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Camden Clark Medical Center following an extended illness.

He was born August 8, 1959 at Parkersburg, a son of the late Kelsie Jr. and Bernice (Hupp) Johnson. James enjoyed riding his motorcycle and traveling to many destinations throughout the U.S. He also loved to camp and was an avid WVU football fan.

James is survived by his son Tyler Johnson; sisters Debbie Coulter and Marsha Hunter; grandchildren Aliyah Johnson, Justin Johnson and Olivia Johnson.

In addition to his parents James was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Price.
