James E Pursley

James E. Pursley, 76 of Ripley, passed away March 20, 2017 at Marietta Memorial Hospital following a long illness. He was born January 7, 1941 at Ripley, son of the late Basil and Mary Smith Pursley. He was a self- employed Bricklayer. Jim enjoyed spending time with family and being outdoors, especially hunting and farming. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, TwIla Crites Pursley; daughter Mary Gorrell; granddaughter Amber Queen; sisters Mary Ellen Baker and Barbara Ann Justice and brother Creed Pursley. Funeral Service will be 1 pm Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with John Gunther officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Leroy.
