James Kyle Shamblin

James Kyle Shamblin, 18 of Ripley passed away from injuries of an accident on June 11, 2020 in Avon, NC while vacationing with his family. Kyle was born September 10, 2001 in Ripley, a son of Tony Shamblin and Ella Burgess Shamblin. He was a member of the 2020 graduating class of the Ripley High School. He enjoyed Football, Hunting, Fishing and riding ATV’s. He is survived by his father, Tony Shamblin and mother Ella Burgess(Brian Wines) Shamblin; brothers, T.J. Shamblin, Cole Shamblin, Isaiah Shamblin, Aiden Shamblin, Jonathan Shamblin and Steven Shamblin; sister, Peyton Shamblin; grandmother, Rita Burgess; uncles Danny (Leah) Shamblin, Steve (Mary) Shamblin, Paul (Nicole) Shamblin, John Burgess, Timothy Burgess and Pat Burgess along with several cousins. Kyle was preceded in death by his grandparents, Orville and Nadine Shamblin and Cecil Burgess and uncles Ralph Burgess and Stanley Shamblin Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Brent DeWees, Minister, officiating.
