Janet M. Casto

Janet M. Casto, 74, of Statts Mills passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024 at CAMC Memorial Hospice.

Janet was born September 9, 1949 at Kentuck, WV a daughter of the late Harlan and Vernie (Parsons) Casto.

Janet was a team leader for Fruth Pharmacy of Ripley and would retire after many years of service. She was an avid reader and traveler and accomplished visiting all 50 states. Most of all she loved her family and all the time she got to spend with them.

Janet is survived by her husband of 51 years. Gary B. Casto; daughter Tina Koerber; brother Paul Casto (Garnet); grandson Eric Doughty Koerber and his fiancée Sarah. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and extended family.

In addition to her parents Janet was preceded in death by brothers George Russell Casto and Earl Casto and sisters Mary Casto and Virginia “Ginny Ann” Fisher.

Funeral service will be 1p.m. Thursday, June 13th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
