Janice L Jones

Janice L. “Jan” Jones, 76 of Ripley passed away suddenly at her home on November 2, 2016. She was born November 29, 1939 at Beards Fork, Fayette County, a daughter of the late Guy and Violet Tucker Wolfe. She graduated from Torrance High School in Torrance California. She was a member of the Ripley Baptist Temple, Former owner of the Ripley Pet Center and loved bird and chickens and just about anything with feathers. She also enjoyed gardening. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Luther Jones; sister Carol Hively and her husband Randy along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters Barbara Holstein and Linda McCormack. Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Rick Perrine officiating. Burial will be in the Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico.
