Jerry P. Bourgeois

Jerry P. “Jake” Bourgeois, 58, of Ripley passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at Jackson General Hospital. He was born February 26, 1963 at Parkersburg a son of the late Robert and Edna Miller Bourgeois. In addition to his parents Jake was preceded in death by sisters Donna Miller, Sue and Helen Bourgeois. Jake was a jack of all trades and willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed going to all different kinds of racing events and was a collector of many things. He is survived by siblings Pam Anderson of Ripley, Paul Bourgeois of Ripley, Dale Bourgeois of Wooster, OH, Billy Bourgeois of Rittman, OH and Joey Bourgeois of Wadsworth, OH. He is also survived by his companion of 37 years Becky Brown. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, October 11th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Visitation wil be held from 12 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Morgan Cemetery on Ravenswood Pike.
