Jesse Raymond Smith

Jesse Raymond Smith, 62, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at CAMC Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.

Jesse was born March 26, 1963 at Ocean Side, CA a son of the late Raymond Alfred and Julia Joann (Nunley) Smith.

Jesse was a graduated of Ripley High School and served his country as a member of the US Army and Army Reserves. Jesse loved attending church at Ravenswood Freewill Baptist Church. Jesse also enjoyed going golfing and playing all different kinds of games on his phone.

Jesse is survived by his wife, Pam (Winters) Smith; children Matthew Statts and Sarah Smith; stepchildren Andrew Winters, Tristan Winters, Mikayla Winters and Miranda Winters; siblings Melvin “Ray” Smith, Sharon Harper and Kimberly Casto; grandchildren Nathaniel Hoselton and Loretta Hoselton; step grandchildren Keegan Winters, Cameron Winters, Nevaeh Diddy, Ryker Diddy, Coleson Diddy, Serenity Winters, Bella Winters and Cashton Winters.

In addition to his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by a grandson, Gavin Conner.

Servicefor Jesse will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 31st with Pastor Chris Skeen officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.  He will be laid to rest in the Jackson County Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
