Jessica Darlene Earls

Jessica Darlene Earls, 74, of Ripley passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at CAMC Memorial Hospice.

She was born December 17, 1948 in Blacksburg, VA a daughter of the late Jesse Edward andMargaret Belle Bland Lang. Jessica loved to dance and more recently enjoyed dancing at JJ’s in Ripley where she affectionately became known as “Nan.”

Jessica is survived by her children Regina Terry, Michael Carpenter (Jennifer) and Jay Carpenter; sister Sandy Wright (Billy); brother Jesse Edward Lang Jr (Mary).; grandchildren Kelsey Terry, Cierra Carpenter, Kaitlyn Carpenter, Shayelin Carpenter, Christian Carpenter, Cheyenne Carpenter and Courtney Carpenter. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Ronald Sturgill IV and Ivy Sturgill.

In addition to her parents Jessica was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Bland.
