Jessie Fay Price 93, of Ripley went to her heavenly home Friday May 29th at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston. She was born August 13, 1926 to the late David and Pearl Fields. She was a member of Vista Church. She was a cook at the Daniel Boone Restaurant and the Golden Lamp. Later she retired as a cook from Cedar Lakes. In her retirement she loved planting flowers, sewing quilts, reading her bible and listening to gospel music. She is survived by her daughters Chrystal McMillion of Charleston and Carolyn Mahood of Ripley, A sister Mildred Crihfield of Ripley, Grandchildren Tim (Stacey) Haynes of Ripley, Mike (Cindy) McMillion of Charleston and Joey (Sandy) Mahood of Ravenswood. 11 Great Grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren with 3 on the way. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Foley Price, a daughter Shirley Jean Haynes, son James Price, Sisters Annie, Emmy, Margret, brothers Ova, Homer, and Joe. Great Great Grandson Edward McMillion. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Monday, June 1, 2020 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Danny Cummings officiating. Burial will be in the Siniaville Cemetery, Statts Mill. Friends may call from 11:00 am until the time of service on Monday at the Funeral Home. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions and precautionary opening of funeral guidelines, set forth by the WV Governor’s office, everyone will need to wear a mask or face covering, and practice social distancing during the public visitation.
