James "Jim" Frederick Lively Jr., 74, of Kenna passed away November 17, 2015 at Jackson General Hospital following a short illness. He was born October 31, 1941 at Marmet, a son of Madeline Craft Lively and the late James F. Lively. Jim was a Veteran of the United States Marines and worked as a Chef. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and cook for his fellow hunters when on a hunting trip. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Brown Lively; son Mark Lively; daughters Teresa Lively, Patty Butler and Tina Spears; brother Walter Lively; sister Carolyn Burrnell; grandchildren James D. Lively, Michael Lively, Tara Lively and Matthew Lively; also survived by 16 great grandchildren. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a son, James F. Lively III and a brother Donald Lively. The family is honoring his wishes to be cremated and there will be no services.Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, is serving the family.
