Jimmy Glenn Fisher

Jimmy Glenn Fisher, 77, of Ripley passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at his home.

Jimmy was born October 25, 1948 in Ripley, WV a son of the late Hiram and Clara (Fields) Fisher. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by siblings Ermalie Fields, Martha Fisher, Ross Fisher, Ira Fisher, Harvey Fisher, Eugene Fisher, John Henry Fisher, Philbert Fisher, Mickey Fisher and Stanley Fisher.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 22 years, Virginia (Williams) Fisher; sons Timothy and Trevor Fisher; stepchildren Amanda and Monica Thomas, Amanda Price, David Casto and Alvin Casto; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and a sister, Rosalee Barker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Jimmy proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked many years for Columbia Gas as a heavy equipment operator and also worked for the Department of Agriculture. Jimmy could often be found working on his cars and motorcycles and enjoyed going to car shows. He was also a talented woodworker.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, February 6th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Jason Hays officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.
