John David Cross

John David Cross, 47 of Spelter, Harrison County, passed away August 30, 2016 at United Hospital Center in Clarksburg following a sudden illness. He was born June 2, 1969 at Elkins, WV, son of Darl Cross of Ripley and the late Juanita Clingerman Cross who preceded him death earlier this year. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp during Desert Storm. He was formerly employed as a painter and at present was the Maintenance Manager for Courtyard by Marriott in Clarksburg. In addition to his father Darl Cross, he is survived by his daughter Christina Cross Redman of Sandyville; his brother James Robert "J.R." Cross of Delaware, OH and is also survived by three grandchildren. There is no service scheduled. Waybright Funeral Home is serving the family.
