John E. "Erston" Thomas

John E. "Erston" Thomas 85 of Kenna passed away November 5, 2013 at Hubbard House West, South Charleston following a long illness. He was born February 22, 1928 at Belgrove a son of the late Elsworth and Pearl Hatcher Thomas. He was a retired Diesel Mechanic for Point Express. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Bonnett Thomas; a brothers Ivan Thomas, George Thomas and Samuel Thomas and sisters Irene Kelly and Idress Westfall. He is survived by a sister Beatrice Jones of Ripley: nephew Keith Thomas; nieces Barbara Casto, Karen Moss, Loretta Mollohan and Cleta Walker. Special Friend Brenda Griffith. Funeral Service will be 1 pm Friday, November 8, 2013 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Elmer Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Thomas Cemetery, Aplin Ridge.
