John J. Pfost Dvm

John J. Pfost, DVM, 95 of Charleston, passed away April 6, 2018 at Braley Care Home, Hurricane following a long illness. He was born October 21, 1922 in Ripley, a son of the late H.F and Blanche “Bess” Miller Pfost. He was a graduate of West Virginia University and The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He was a beloved Veterinarian and World War II Veteran serving in the United States Air Force. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, a son and a grandson. He is survived by a son and daughter, 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please save your money and do something special for your family.
