John Stepp

Rev. John Albert Stepp, 68 of Charleston passed away on January 2, 2025.

John was the son of the late Webster and Nora Stepp of Charleston, WV.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by brothers, George “Wally” Stepp of Virginia, Larry Stepp of Michigan. Sister Nora Jean Stepp of Charleston, WV.

John is survived by 10 siblings:

Danny Stepp of Given, Mona Barrow of Dunbar, Doug (Joann) Stepp of Michigan, Charlotte Snodgrass of Marmet, Mike (Kathy) Stepp of Sissonville, Jeff (Terri) Stepp of Charleston, Donna (Giorgio) Saraceno of So. Charleston, Bonnie (Kevin) Hanson of Kermit, Rockie (Kim) Stepp of Dunbar, David (Sharon) Stepp of Sandyville, as well as many nieces and nephews.

John was known for his bubbly personality and passion to help others in need. John was a Pastor of North Charleston Wesleyan Holiness Church. He was an Evangelist and had a radio ministry for many years. He continued to serve God as a witness of God's love wherever he went.

John will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

A celebration of John’s life will be held at the Valley Grove Church of the Nazarene in Charleston W.V. on February 8, 2025.

Pastor David Stepp will be officiating. Family and friends can gather at 11:00 and service will be held at noon.
