Johnie B. Rhodes

Johnie B. Rhodes, 77 of Kenna, passed away May 26, 2025 at Hubbard Hospice House following an extended illness.

He was born December 24, 1947 in Gandeeville, Roane County, WV, son of the late Jim and Hazel Raines Rhodes. Johnie was a Farmer and enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially squirrel hunting. He was a Christian and attended Hickory Grove Church.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Wolfe Rhodes; sons, Ronnie (Shelia) Kerns, William Rhodes, Danny Rhodes; daughters, Rosetta (Jake), Annette (Carl), Teresa, Clarissa and Sarah; brothers, Jackie (Linda), Jesse (Donna), William (Miranda), Kirby (Tina), Joe (Diane), Jimmy, Oakie, Billy (Bugsy) and Jake (Rosetta); sister Anna (Greg); several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son Roy Kerns, brother Jerry Rodes and sister Janet Bowles.

In honoring his wishes, Johnie will be cremated and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
