Johnnie Wayne White

Johnnie Wayne White, 59, of Millwood passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Jackson General Hospital following an extended illness. He was born June 20, 1959 at Ravenswood, a son of the late Warren and Dola Hinzman White. Johnnie was a minister who pastored at several churches through the years including Plainview Church, Vista Church, and Goodwill Community Church. He also enjoyed turkey and deer hunting. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Tammie McClanahan White; sons Matthew White of Millwood and Kevin White of Fairplian; brother Jack White of Ravenswood and Doreen Knopp of Gay. He is also survived by grandchildren Landon Flinn, Weston White, and Brielle White. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 25th at Waybright Funeral Home with Pastor Enoch Pursley officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Sandyville.
