Johnny Michael Jeffries, 53, passed away suddenly on February 18, 2022 in Ripley, West Virginia. He was born to Mary E. Baker and Aaron H. Jeffries on April 19, 1969 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. Johnny is preceded in death by his mother Mary E. Baker, stepfather Charlie Barr, brother Aaron Jeffries, and cousin Charles McFadden. Johnny primarily resided in Ripley, WV where he was raised by his mother and stepfather. Johnny met his wife Beverly Fields while they attended Ripley High school. They married the summer of 1989 and have been married ever since. In their 35 years together, they had 5 beautiful children and 1 grandchild. Johnny worked in general carpentry and construction for years to support his family. When he wasn’t working he could be found enjoying music, Harley Davidson motorcycles, fishing, collecting antiques, spending time with family and his beloved pets, and bragging on the vast accomplishments of his children and grandson. Johnny will be proudly remembered by his family and friends for his work ethic, sense of humor, and his devotion to his children. He is survived by his wife Beverly Jeffries, his children Zach, Mary (Matt) Coleman, Cassandra, Jaelyn, and Sophia, his grandson Jackson W. Coleman, and his sisters Christina Shamblin and Veronica Starcher.
