Johnny Keith Rotenberry

Surrounded by his loving family, Johnny Keith Rotenberry, 73, of Ripley, WV passed away Monday, February 3, 2020 after a long illness. He was born on January 23, 1947. Johnny will be dearly missed by his wife of 28 years, Shirley Rotenberry; his children Scott (Carla) Rotenberry, John Rotenberry, Kenny (Tammy) Rotenberry, William Rotenberry; step-daughters Crystal and Stacy Light; sisters and brothers, Dorothy Hetzel, Mandy Cook, Bernice Shrewsbury, Timmy Rotenberry, Richard Rotenberry and J. David Rotenberry. Johnny had 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren that enjoyed spending time with. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Dolly Rotenberry, an infant son, Kevin, a sister, several brothers and his beautiful grandson, BB. Johnny was retired from Edgewood Country Club where he enjoyed being a groundskeeper for 15 years. Truly an outdoorsman, Johnny loved hunting, traveling, and hiking. He was preparing to hike the Appalachian Trail when he became ill. Although our lives journeys have bid us to be apart, I am with you, you are with me, always in our hearts. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Waybright Funeral Home in Ripley, WV. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
