Jonah James Elliott

Jonah James Elliott, of Sandyville, WV, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019 at the age of 87. He was a retired truck driver and a loving husband, father, grandfather, and all around family man. There is nothing he would not do for his family. Jonah is survived by his daughters Joni Redman and Pam Elliott, his son, Steven Shriver; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. He was born on October 7, 1931, to the late James J. Elliott and Edrie E. Jones Elliott or Ripley. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 48 years, Etta L. Elliott; his parents, and his sister Mary Ann Steele. As per Jonah's wishes, there will be no service. The family will hold a private service at Drift Run Cemetery. The family is grateful for the condolences, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude Children's Hospital, in his name.
