Joseph J. Rogers Jr.

Joseph John Rogers, Jr., age 66, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at home. Joe was born on April 3, 1956 to parents Sophie (Lucas) Rogers, Stratford, CT and Joseph John Rogers, Sr., Stratford, CT, who preceded him in death.

Joe married Elizabeth (DeFelice) on February 14, 1979 in New York. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Danielle Rogers, Manassas, VA, Cortney (Martin) LeMasurier, Canaan, CT, Jared Rogers, Ravenswood, WV; grandchildren Maggie, Daisy, and Callie.

He loved fishing, his dog Buster, and day trips with his wife. He always looked forward to family vacations on Chincoteague Island.

Joe retired from NASDAQ in 2006 and moved to West Virginia to raise heritage breed livestock.  He worked part time at Tractor Supply until declining health forced him to permanently retire.
