Joshua Jordan Casto, 27, passed away in a fatal accident in the early hours of August 10, 2024.
Joshua was born September 25, 1996 in Ripley, WV a son of Melissa Walker and the late Joshua Ronald Casto.
Joshua had a smile that would light up his whole face and he was also able to inherit the one raised eyebrow thing from his dad. He had a great passion for history, and anything gun related especially antique and relic arms. Joshua would give the tightest hugs and he loved animals.
He was not perfect, but he had people that loved him. He was a son, father, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend. As a mother of one child who no longer has a child, please cherish your loved ones. One decision, one action, a poor choice, a blink of an eye, your whole world changes forever.
Joshua is survived by mother Melissa Walker, his daughter Lielah Carpenter, pawpaw Ernie Hartley, aunts Kitty Drinkwarter (Kevin), Michelle Walker, Jessica Casto (Timmy), uncles Justin Walker and Zackery Walker He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and his loyal dog, Hank who will not to get to enjoy life with his best friend and will patiently wait to be reunited with Joshua.
Joshua was preceded in death by his father, Josh Casto; grandparents Robert and Cheri Casto; Maw Maw Brenda Walker and uncles Christopher and Jason Casto.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, August 17th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Bradley Goodwin officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
