Joyce Mae Kirby

Joyce Mae Kirby, 70, of Ripley passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 following a sudden illness.

Joyce was born on January 7, 1954 in Madison, WV.

Joyce loved spending time coloring and watching movies as well as being outside enjoying a cup of coffee with her neighbor and her adopted dog Loki. She loved to interact with the kids in her neighborhood and considered many of them like her own grandchildren. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and she was what their world revolved around.

Joyce is survived by her children Ann Meade and James Junior Meade; brother Jesse Hicks; grandchildren Meloita Reynolds and Tracy Sayres; daughter-in-law Beverly Meade and son-in-law Butch Reynolds

In addition to her parents Joyce was preceded in death by an infant son Willie Edward Meade; brothers David Harless, Andy Hicks and Roger; sisters Willa Rhodes and Betty Snyder.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 31st at Waybright Funeral Home, with Pastor Grant Garber officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.
