Joyce Wine

Joyce Eilene (Thompson) Wine, 52 of Ripley passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Jackson General Hospital. She was born July 26, 1963 at Gallipolis, OH, daughter of John W. and Ruth V. Salser Thompson of Ravenswood. She was a homemaker, loving wife and mother. Joyce enjoyed gardening and painting ceramics. She was a giving person whom cared for those in need and loved crocheting lap blankets for elderly in nursing homes and making donations to local food banks. In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband of 19 years, Mark Wine; loving daughter Jennifer Wine; brother Johnny Thompson and his wife Pam of Ravenswood; sister Janet Thornton and her husband Kevin of Ravenswood; mother-in-law Gladys Wine. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She will be missed greatly by her two current dogs Rocky and Paco. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Tommy Nutter presiding. A time of gathering with the family will be from 11:00 am until the time of service on Saturday.
