Juanita Cross

Juanita June (Clingerman) Cross, 71 of Ripley, formerly of Elkins passed away April 1, 2016 following a long illness. Juanita was born June 18, 1944 at Elkins, a daughter of the late Robert Russell and Carrie Tenney Clingerman. She was a homemaker, worked as a medical secretary and also secretary for the Calvary United Methodist Church in Ripley. She volunteered for the Health Department and was a member of the Jackson County C.E.O.S. She was a faithful member of the Calvary United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband Darl Cross; sons James Robert "J.R." Cross of Delaware, OH and John David "J.D." Cross of Clarksburg; two grandchildren and one step grandchild and four great grandchildren and one step great grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate Juanita's life at 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Calvary United Methodist Church, Ripley with Rev. Charles Hicks officiating. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service at the church.
